The Who, What, and Why of AvantChoice
Welcome! I am so excited to be writing this to you, my readers! I am Victoria Marlene Nash (a.k.a. Victoria M. Scott), creator of our Coach Victoria Marlene Blogs. I am thrilled to introduce myself, my blog, and my coaching practice. You will see fraternal twin websites- AvantChoice.com, which is designed and trademarked to become a home for future coaches, and VictoriaMarleneNash.com, which is my personal brand of transformational coaching.
Who is Victoria Marlene Nash?
I was born and raised in rural Kansas and lived in various Midwestern cities with my children. At 46, I became the Regional Sales Manager for Pyramid Life Insurance Company in Kansas City. Six months later, I chose the Carolinas and Virginia as my region. I didn’t know anyone there; I knew only that I had fallen in love with its beauty and its people several years earlier. My job was to add new agency offices and recruit agents to sell our products. As the territory grew from $750,000 to $6 million, I grew in confidence and expertise. Over time, the company sold and restructured its sales organization; and I began another life journey.
I explored my natural creative talents in interior design and personal style. This led me to my current job with the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Foundation. It is an arts-based conservatory where students develop and strengthen their skills. In other words, I’m watching them learn to live their passion.
Why now?
Life coaching spoke to me when I read about the future of marketing in “Clicking” by Faith Popcorn. I earned my life coaching master’s certification in 2021. As of Thursday, April 6, 2023, I am an accredited life coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Why blogging?
Blogging is the chief form of marketing for both small and large companies, together with social media businesses to connect to their audience. My emails and blog posts will encourage my readers to explore the services I offer.
